Kabaddi is a contact sport that originated in Ancient India. The game of Kabaddi shall be governed and played under the following rules and regulations of International Kabaddi Federation (IKF). The Kabaddi Federation of Uganda (KFU) is the central body for the administration and promotion of game of Kabaddi in Uganda. Established in 2017, KFU is preceded by the World Kabaddi Federation, which came into existence in 1950. It also organizes international Kabaddi tournaments for both men and women, in Uganda.
